As I navigated through my teenage years and questioning the relevance of spirituality, bro Pierce was one of my primary go-to person that could bring insight and clarity to a young developing mind.

He was very thoughtful, practical and insightful in his responses. Always a very gentle spirit flow out of him. This was his natural nature, from time spent with the Master.

Brother Pierce embodied the virtues of a man of purpose, tried in the battle of life challenges, stood upright and came through in perfection.

My memories of those years gone by, are sparkle with the echoes of Brother Pierce smiles, laughter and him standing in the sanctuary at Westmount Church teaching the Young Adult Sabbath School class. He was always prepared to ask some probing questions.

To Sister Pierce, Rowena and Dale, a brother, a roommate, a friend and family. Much love from all the McPherson Clan.

Until that great getting up morning...
