About Me

Who I Am

I’ve been in the tech industry for over 25 years, mainly specializing in enterprise-wide backup solutions and some years as an IT Analyst.

Whether working with large organizations or small business owners, my goal has always been the same: to help people protect their data and sleep a little easier at night.

How I Learn

I’m mostly self-taught—with a few formal courses sprinkled in along the way.

My learning style? Hands-on. I like to dive in, experiment, break things (occasionally!), and figure them out. When I hit a roadblock, I dig into resources to understand what I’m missing.

This approach has helped me solve complex technical challenges—and it’s one of the reasons I love working in tech.

A Few Personal Tidbits

  • Born in a warm-weather country, but raised in Montreal (yes, I still tease my parents about that).
  • Spent summers in New York, and now live in Toronto—home of the 2018–2019 NBA Champions!
  • Proud introvert. (Don’t knock it till you understand it.)

My friends would describe me as:

  • Organized
  • A great listener
  • Left-brained (logical and analytical)
  • Big fan of basketball, tennis, and NFL football.

And one other thing… I have an unhealthy addiction to Red Twizzlers™ and Swedish Berries (so if you want to bribe me, that is the way to go!). 🙂
